Problems with installation? Strange errors?
We're here to help! Simply submit your problem via the link below. However, there's a few things we'd like to suggest first:
1) Read the manual. Most problems can be solved simply by reading the manual's troubleshooting section and following the instructions there.
2) Read the FAQ.
3) If experiencing problems with models, sounds, or map loads, double-check that your com_hunkmegs are set higher than 64. Details on com_hunkmegs are in the manual.
4) If experiencing shader errors, such as blacked out portals or ugly water, remove any newly-added third-party maps or player models. A mis-named shader can cause these errors.
5) When submitting reports, please be as descriptive as possible. Posts like "OMG WTF GEN IS BROKE" will be ignored.
6) When submitting, be sure to include things such as map, number of players on the server, if the game was local or on the internet, what class you were playing as, and as many other details as you can remember.
7) This is not a "features request" forum. You're welcome to post on the Generations main forum for that sort of thing.
8) If you run across multiple related bugs, please keep them in one thread if possible for consistency's sake. :)
9) Look at the "Latest Bug Reports" box directly above. If your problem is listed there, please don't post them again.
