The Arena Masters decided to incorporate grappling hooks into the arsenals of all contending generations to permit more rapid movement in certain contests. For the Arena Gladiators, a combination electro-mechanical device was created. A solid metal claw is tethered to the gun by a beam of energy. When the claw is launched, the user is pulled toward wherever this claw goes. Skilled users have been seen to employ a combination attack with the gauntlet as a means to dispatch opponents with style.
